Hello! Greetings from Oregon, the land of grey and mud colors! My DEAR niece, Anita wants a quilt. And since the holiday rush is over and I need a project, I asked her what she wants. She wants a chevron quilt...in grey :( with one stripe of green...
So, being the best auntie ever, I went to my local quilt show knowing she had just received a nice selection of fabrics in grey.
And here they are:
I'm cutting 10 1/2" squares, making super large HST's and putting them together...easy peasy.
While we're at it, here's a little something silly I made for a cat lover friend/co-worker:
My own design...sewed "eyebrows & noses" on all of them, except for one, who's looking at you! Fun and quick :)
I had the perfect quilted remnant from my chicken handbag, so I made a pot holder with it (two layers of Insulbrite in the middle). Love binding clips...LOVE!
This guy was a little treat from me to me...gives me the giggles.
Well, it's been a nice week off...back to the grind tomorrow...UGH! Got to pay for all this fabric somehow...I guess :).
Thanks to Finding Fifth for the Sunday Stash link up. Thanks for Molli Sparkles for taking it over for 2014~
Happy New Year All!
