WIP Wednesday/Let's Bee Social: A Cushion For A Princess~Mini Medallion Pinwheels
My daughter wanted this chair from IKEA for her room, but found it to be too hard on her posterior. "Mom, can you make me a cushion for my chair" came the call, and so...I did :)
She loves foxes and bow ties. I have around 10 fox fabrics hanging around in my stash, so it was quick to whip up. The back is a simple turned edge with velcro on the top/bottom so that the cover can be taken off and washed.
I hope you can see on the black fabric!
I've also made all of the half square triangles for my mini medallion quilt, I put a quarter near them for perspective. Those babies are 1.5"! Now to sew them all up into pinwheels:
Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteGreat practical pillow... I'm sure your daughter (and her posterior) must love it! I just made a baby quilt with those same foxes as the backing (only in aqua and red). Love em!
