WIP WEDNESDAY: How A Design Begins v 1

This time it started with the fabric
Specifically, the fruit print there on the left...which led me to the other fabrics. Then came the idea. I love that my daughter Shannon, is an artist and has colored pencils all over the place. I found these pencils laying around with no problem. Colored Pencils + graph paper equals design:
Then came the "sample" block:

  3. I like what you did with the colors after you picked them out. Making the blocks share the corner gave nice alternating stars. I make Friendship Star often, and may borrow this idea.
