Halloween!
My two daughters take Japanese in high school. First was Aubrey, who atteneded from 2009-2012. Next is Shannon who will attend 2012-2016. Every year the Wilsonville Sister City Association, in partnership with Kitakata Sister City Assocation (Japan) hosts students. These students come at Halloween specifically to experience this truly American holiday!
This year, our student is Karin (pronounced Car-een)
She got to carve a pumpkin, eat a hot dog and get dressed up in a costume!
This is our fifth go around on hosting a girl from Japan...always an interesting experience! :)
