So, machine quilting "scares" me just a bit. I've done some simple stuff, but to try to do what Gemma does...well, I'll have to practice a lot more!
My current project just for me is this handbag.
I used a stitch that looks like chicken feet prints going around the chickens. Kept it simple and clean.

Your quilt is lovely and I like the back a lot! I just took a chevron quilt to the LAQ...so I'll have to see how she did with it when it gets back. =)
