WIP Wednesday~for ME!

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced I finally had MY quilt quilted! I worked on this two years ago and it's sat in my drawer waiting...waiting...waiting
The binding is made out of the blue flannel backing...108", so I didn't need to seam it
(it's blue...looks grey in this picture) Five hours of hand sewing so far...my daughter, Aubrey put in 2 hours, and I've got 3 in so far...love these binding clips, btw...
SO CLOSE!!!
Thanks for stopping by! Friskie is glad you did!

  2. It is beautiful! it feels good to finish a quilt that has sat back burner. I just pulled out a top that I started 6 years ago.

  5. I just bought some of those binder clips too.
Great to finish something isn't it? I love to tidy up a quilt at the end, with binding.

    1. LeeAnna~I just finished it and it's on my bed...and it's covered with my old comforter because my big, black dog is one the bed :) I love the clips...amazing how some of these tools are so helpful! I wonder what pioneer women would think of quilting today! Thanks for stopping by!
